I'm a Test Lead working for Microsoft in the New York area. My team focuses on performance and reliability testing of a cloud service. You can contact me via LinkedIn or email.

Current Projects

Aside from work, here are some projects I'll be working on in 2012:

• Expert Testers -- a blog written by Microsoft testers. My articles are here.
• /perfnews/ -- a site about software performance engineering. I search the web for content related to software performance and post the links here.
• /sdetnews/ -- similar to /perfnews/, but for software testing.

Past Projects

The following are some projects that I've worked on in the past:

• HaskellMath -- a Haskell library that implements various math functions.
• Haskell Computer Algebra System (HCAS) -- a project I worked on while studying at Columbia. HCAS is a purely functional language that allows you to manipulate mathematical expressions.
• Smashing the GIMP -- another project from Columbia. I implemented a buffer overflow exploit for the GIMP.
• Linux Gazette -- I wrote a handful of articles for the Linux Gazette.
